Vinski Valos

VENTURES:
If not browsing the OED and hoarding words, or leafing the philosophy library and hoarding ideas Vinski might be out in the park clickety-clacking poems to passers-by on his yellow typewriter, or sprawled on his bed, muttering into a dictaphone.

His other wordy shenanigans include open-mic storytelling, sharing his lexical favorites, giving workshops on action poetry, and, last but also least, sucking at freestyle rap (All in good time!)

Presently, Vinski's toiling at a short story collection. Stay tuned!

SKILLS:
Vinski's previous work as a content author for Babbel solidified his grammar and style. Penning educational texts, dialogues and exercises for teenage English learners furthermore forced him to home in on the needs and desires of his respective audience.

Street poetry teaches to listen, too. Tailoring poems to the public requires tuning into what's relevant for the stranger sitting before one. The merciless finality of typewriting under a client's expectant gaze, on the other hand, keeps on challenging Vinski's writerly moxie.

It is a gift to get to perk up a passer-by's day, bring their trip to a point, or enrich their relationship, be it only through a short poem.

THOUGHTS:
The world curlicued, and Vinski writes to coil up its tangled curls. The takeaway from his love-hate relationship to philosophy is that every event, problem, or characteristic has numerous angles to be looked from. Be the change of vantage point a visual, conceptual, or metaphorical one, it always yields fresh insight.

Certain perspectives enable an apter view of the situation, making sense of the mess that the world is by aligning its conceptual curls into neat patterns. These patterns are what Vinski seeks in his creative work.

His long-standing passion for philosophy and the academia has bestowed him with a toolbox of ideas to work the world, to see the possible alignments.

I like to eye things from a different angle.
